There's also a dealership with a charger in Summerville – McElveen Buick at 121 Farmington Road. There's also another EA in North Charleston, but that's probably less useful since you're practically home by then. There's an EA charging station in Columbia, right off of I-26 at Walmart (360 Harbison Blvd.), which is probably your best bet – you're likely going to need to charge once. Right now, what I get from the forums is that Juicebox and Chargepoint best are top contenders. Is that true? Does it mean I can get free charging by roaming at a Chargepoint station?ģ) To avoid all this and get my home charge in on time, is there consensus on the best option? All the terms are greek to me, but we had an electrician get things set up for a hardwired, 48amp charger. Once we get home though, public charging stations aren't exactly on every corner. It sounds like we can get that done in one charge.
